I am just so happy - I love them AND most of all I love that he worked so hard to find all this out and surprise me. He has a hard time surprising me cuz I'm just too darn curious. :)
We went to lunch in Estes Park too and I had to put on my jewelry right away!
I have to share these close-ups too. The necklace shows both sides of the butterfly wing and they are very different, so it's like having two necklaces!
Happy happy happy :) After this we decided to wander a few more shops and find some new hoodies (I am obsessed with mountain town hoodies... hubby only had ONE hoodie, well until he found another one this day :)
I totally think he should have bought this. I think he looks adorable.
But at least he ended up buying this and I LOVE it:
And I found myself one that I love too (and I MIGHT be wearing it as I type this...)
I totally thought these tees were AWESOME since I'm such a Starbucks junkie. None in my size though:
Great huh? They made me giggle. Speaking of Starbucks. Have you tried the new Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino? I hoped I wouldn't like it. But I do. A lot.
My favorite part is the chocolate whipped cream - tastes like mousse!! Other than that it's pretty much the same as a java chip but with vanilla in it (which really helps), and then the cookie crumbles on top. I have to really watch myself with these especially since hubby likes them too! So I'll try to only have them when we do it together as a treat. I usually get a much healthier coffee, and not every day anymore :)
After our fun time out and about in town, we went back to hang out at our house in Estes. Spent some time out on the deck enjoying the beautiful weather. The best gift of all - great quality time with my hubber hubs.
How can you beat a view like this?
We had such a great day up in Estes. In the evening we relaxed in the house and watched a movie & ordered delicious pizza from Village Pizza. Mmm.
On my ACTUAL birthday, I received this SUPER SWEET gift in the mail from my friend Raina AKA Marshy.
I just love it :) So cute and so sweet. Thank you my dear friend for thinking of me.
The next day, Ian surprised me with my new FAVORITE dessert.... it's called Caramel Granny Apple and it's from a local restaurant. It's similar to apple pie with caramel on top.... but hard to explain just how awesomely different it is. He got a piece for me, himself and my dad... but mine got a candle :)
Just for the record, I didn't like it at all:
I have so much to be grateful for this birthday. It's been just lovely. But I have to say I've REALLY been missing my mom.
I have LOTS more to talk to you guys about!!!! So stay tuned.
