My First Dinner Party

Well, it may not have been anything fancy, but Wednesday night was kind of my first dinner party :) I made my crock pot enchiladas (they came out MUCH better this time yay!)... and I also put out chips and salsa first and played some Mexican music to complete the mood :) I think everybody enjoyed themselves, and it was nice to have everybody try some of my food and sit at our new table!

We had JUST started eating when I took the photo, and Ian fortunately got home just a few minutes after this and was able to join us. I think everybody enjoyed the food, which made me feel really good because I have never been much of a cook, and I've never had a bunch of people over for a dinner. I'd really like to do it more often!

After dinner was done, we all had some projects to work on. Cori was crocheting some coasters for Christmas gifts for her coworkers, and also teaching Jesse how to make them. Kellie was working on a cute recipe book she is making for her mom for Christmas... and I was learning from Ian how to use iMovie for making slideshows of my vacations.

All in all it was a VERY nice evening and I'm glad I got to spend that time with my friends!

Nothing else of note has really gone on this week. Just getting various things done, mostly last minute shopping and gift wrapping :) Tomorrow morning Ian and I are going to the movies! I don't know what we will see for sure - the ones out right now that we would like to see are Australia, Seven Pounds, and Yes Man. Tomorrow is kind of our last day for relaxation before the week of Christmas with family, our 2 year anniversary, and tons going on!
