Yesterday was nice - after laundry day and Ian finishing working, we had an awesome spaghetti dinner that my dad made, and movie night with their new TV. We watched Cool Hand Luke, which I've never seen. It's one of my dad's favorite old movies. My opinion - Paul Newman is a good actor, but the movie wasn't my "thing." It did have some good parts though and I can see why my dad likes it.
Biggest accomplishment of yesterday is of course the new blog layout here! What do you all think? It's very bright and happy, and looks scrapbook-y, so I just love it. And it makes me want to blog more! Haha. So that's always good.
Today has been a busy one for me! After a good workout this morning, I went to lunch with my sister in law and that was very nice. We like to do the soup & salad at Olive Garden. That was very very enjoyable and we had a nice time chatting. I then ran to JC Penny's to try to get the rest of the groomsmen ties (I only have one.) Unfortunately they did not have ANY of that tie. So now I am concerned I won't be able to find them, but I am definitely going to look because they are perfect!
Then I picked up my Save the Date cards from Costco.... so they will be mailed soon! Just waiting on some addresses, and have to buy envelopes. I really really hope I can mail them right after Christmas! They came out looking just great. Man I love printing things at Costco.
Now I'm home for a bit... I just finished getting my enchiladas into the crock pot! It takes some prep work with this recipe. But it's all in there now simmering away and should be ready for tonight. Kellie, Cori, and Jesse are coming over for dinner and to do some crafts. I'm having a whole Mexican night with the music, chips & salsa, enchiladas, rice, and I hope even margaritas! I gotta see about that though :) Plus - the party might get bigger - Kellie's going to try to get her boyfriend Brian to come... and Melissa might come too and bring her boyfriend John. Ian has a haircut tonight so he will miss dinner, but he can eat when he gets here. I'm just sad he'll miss what is starting to sound like a party!
Now that those are cooking, I need to go out and pick up a few extra groceries for tonight, and then come home and clean the bathroom and tidy up the living room a little bit. I better get started because everyone will be here in 2 hours! I'll try to take some pics tonight to post for you guys tomorrow :)
